Belfast SSE - Saturday 27th October
Dublin Point Depot - Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th November!

There you go. You reckon that's it? Or one more for Belf and 2 more for Dub? Seems mad there is no weekend show in Dublin!

Think I might try go to Belfast this time, didn't really enjoy the last few Dublin shows. Anybody here see them in Belfast last time?

Saw them in Belfast during Innocence. Was a good concert but nothing out of the ordinary when compared with other concerts.

Like yourself debating on whether to go to Dublin. 3 Arena doesn't exactly lend itself to the show's set up, and wasn't anyway different to other concerts. Might just use code for German or Dutch gig instead.

Wonder what the chances are of extra Dublin gigs? Will our album pre-sale codes still work?

Yeah, Belfast was really good. Must be one of the smallest venues they played on the tour and probably will be so this tour too. Stage and runway just about took up the length of the arena.

It's an ice-hockey arena so perfect set-up and I'd imagine any seat in the house would be a good one.

Yeah, maybe one more in Belfast. They did two last time, I think. At least two more for Dublin, I'd imagine.

Think I'll try for Belfast in the u2.com pre-sale and Dublin in the retail pre-sale.

Nice that U2.com say Irish presales are 9am but Ticketmaster say 10am! Let the games begin.

Hang on, so the subscription pre sale code can only be used once?!

As in, you can't use it to buy one ticket for one gig and then another ticket for another gig?

Correct, unless the other gig is the same as the first, and bought at the same time, in the same transaction.

If you use the same code but on TM sites in different countries they do not correlate the two purchases.
It is also the likely reason they have changed the rules as the IT systems are not linked between countries so they have no way of checking.
I have never heard of anyone having tickets cancelled in Europe for using codes twice when they bought tix in say France then Belgium for example.
I'm sure there are a lot of people tempted to do this especially with an Experience code!

If Belfast 2 gets announced I will gladly swap a 1 for 1 GA with someone. I plan on buying 2 tommorow for Belfast 1.

Something not right here, front of TM website shows 9am, but when you go to actual individual ticket type, the timer is back to showing count down to 10am. FFS.

Nice and smooth apart from Credit Card validation failure for some reason (I'll take one for the team here) and had to start again, but managed to get the same seats. All very smooth. Can't fault TM on this one, or U2 for that matter. On the edge, by The Edge.

Stressful!!!!!

Checked at 3:00 A.M. Eastern time, countdown said 2 hours.  Got up at 4, saw I had an email, says presale starts at 9:00 A.M. Dublin time, not 10:00 A.M.!!!!

Ticketmaster still said 10:00 A.M., but when you clicked on it, it worked.

And then the fun, credit cards would not work, fraud alert!!!!!!  Tried multiple cards.  Had to call VISA, and then it worked.  Got GA's!!!

Owe, and the email came in at 12:55 A.M.!!!!  WTF

Glad you got sorted. Same issue on cards for us. I've now locked my wife's account so she has to call VISA. Just as well I managed to get good seats or I'd be WTF'ed myself. I already used my pre-sale code for MSG so this was my wife's one for Belf. At least she's a fan too, so any issues at entry and she's there. But am I hearing that I could use my pre-sale code in Europe as there is no correlation? The one for US pre-sales was actually a different code.

Why are you apologising?Fair play to you for scoring multiple shows, you've every right to go for wherever you want,if you have the means to do so.Not your fault if somebody else couldn't get tickets.

Sickening. I'm a fan my whole life and could not even get tickets to one show. I bet you don't even live in Ireland?

What difference does that make?

Well actually. Even though U2 are an International band it would be nice if Ireland was allotted some tickets because it was the artistic ferment that Ireland created that created U2.

What country are you from and what's your greatest cultural export?

Guys - keep it civil - itís a rock gig we are talking about here not life or death.

Iíve edited and deleted some posts - last time I looked U2 were a global band and wouldnít define who should attend what gigs.

What so it's okay for people on here to make vaguely racist comments about potatoes and spuds but a fan can not question the concept of people from Frankfurt or Florida taking all the tickets to Irish gigs and frankly ruining the atmosphere? Imagine if U2 were playing in your home town and walking into the stadium/arena to find that the best seats/standing areas were all taken by a bunch of people from other countries with more money than sense? It's one of the drawbacks of the internet age that frankly we could do without.

Oh mate, there are so many things wrong with this statement that I don't even know where to begin. I am British but taking the opportunity to see the band in Berlin as part of a really nice weekend trip away with my wife. And I bet Berliners will be warm, hospitable and just as excited as we are to be at the gig. We're part of a global community and I can't wait to meet fans from all over the world.

There are queues at the shops in Ireland this morning. My sister is (or was No 8) so pending feedback. Only single tickets were showing for Dublin 10th Nov on-line.

I had a seat for the Saturday Dublin show, but it timed out after 10 seconds and when I searched again, all the tickets had gone - I can understand not wanting people having stuff sat in a basket for 10 minutes or so, but 10 seconds? That really is taking the p###.  >:(

Never mind, I'm going to the Wednesday O2 show, I'll go to Dublin some other time.

Seems quite short, usually you have 2 minutes to move to next stage, but re-selecting I have often found results in no tickets. Imagine how many are on-line trying for these, as well as the ticket outlets and music shops in Ireland, plus the fan and album pre-sales. The 3 Arena is not a big venue so there were very few tickets left I would say. One Innocence pre-sale friend was way up the back of the top tier and that was at 9.03 selecting best available. At 09.15 the queue at the shop were told that was it, all gone.

Knowing TM itís just for an hour or so after the gig. Hardly a travel package though when there is no transport included.
