But anyone received their tickets for the London, Glasgow or Cardiff shows yet?

UK tickets usually don't get shipped until at least 2 weeks before the show.

I think if you ordered the tickets from overseas, then you get the tickets quicker than us guys here.

Dave I will Google Streetview you in Dublin then find your face.

After that, I will pretend to act as someone who wants a tour from you and from there, I will pay you with Monopoly money before you realise that I've left the country :P

How difficult can it be? Nielsen. London. England. Ah sure, I'll give my kids a map of London and tell them it's a treasure hunt, and then make sure they board the plane.

So how does this work?  I'm taking my GF to Paris for 6 days before we get to London.  The U2 show is like the last night of our 10 day trip!

You're saying there's a good chance my tickets will finally be arriving in New Orleans as we're taking off for Paris?

If this is the case I'll have to like put a forward on my mail to redirect it to my parents and then have them globally ship it to my London hotel.  Ugh.

And what about the poor bloke who bought a GA pair for Wembley from me for 355 quid?  He's gonna be kept hanging for that long as well?

hehehehehe - well, if someone has THAT money to spend on tickets, he sure won't be on this forum complaining about ticket prices.

Ah sure, there's only one place to see U2 live! :)

I got my Nice, Berlin and Amsterdam tickets about a month ago. They all came within a week of ordering them. Maybe you got them delivered locally.

Dublin tickets have begun arriving in the post this week, have been in touch with friends, and we all have received Friday Dublin standing tickets and some, but not all have received their seated tickets.
So it looks like due to the sheer volume(250,000!) they are sending them out in batches, which is the norm.

If you did that then you are beyond pejoratives. And the gall to boast about it too.

I am very nervous!  Bought 4 tickets and planned a 9 day trip from US to Ireland around the July 24th concert.  If we don't get our tickets at least 2 weeks in advance, we're screwed!  And, who wants to wait on pins and needles, hoping nothing goes wrong...I've spent $thousands$ already, so Ticketmaster Ireland better come through!!!

Are you in the US?  Did you order them from Ticketmaster during the presale?  If so, that gives me hope!

So I received the slightly cryptic and not particularly helpful email from Ticketmaster over the weekend, regarding the tickets I have ordered for Wembley. Anyone have any better information than this?

Dear Ticketmaster Customer,

This is a courtesy email from Ticketmaster regarding your purchase of tickets for the U2 event that is due to take place at Wembley Stadium.

Your tickets will be dispatched closer to the event date.

Whilst Ticketmaster aims to dispatch tickets as soon as possible we are not able to be specific with exact dates of dispatch. Please allow as much time as possible for your tickets to arrive. If your tickets have not arrived five days before the show, or if you are travelling, five days before you leave, please contact us. Please include your reference number and the name and postcode the booking is under. Ticketmaster only posts tickets to the billing address of a credit card. If the address in your booking does not correspond to that held by your credit card company, we may cancel your tickets.

Thank you for using Ticketmaster!
